User Experience
Technology always changes over a period of time and makes it difficult for anyone to predict new technology in five or ten years. User experience does not change quickly and works best in long-term goals.
Technical aspect is a common mistake that most businesses focus on. It’s imperative to focus on user experience and separate ourselves from the core technology in order to have a clear vision how user would interact.
Visions act like a flag stuck into the sand somewhere on the horizon. The objective of the flag can be seen clearly, yet there’s enough distance for business to reach any time soon. Because the flag is clearly visible, we’ll see if every step takes the business closer or farther away. If the flag weren’t visible, then we would wander off in an undesirable direction which cost us money and time.
Having a clear vision helps your business understand if changes are moving in the right direction or not. Occasionally, design change is bound to happen and could stray from the vision. However, if everyone understands the vision, then we’ll know when and where it is happening. Thus be able to act on it and correct our course of action in a short time.
User Experience Visions are done in small steps that could have numerous incremental changes to the design. Each change we make, we re-evaluate and ask ourselves, “Is this getting us closer to our vision?” This will create a formidable experience that would capture the heart and mind of potential customers.
