WhoAmI

Do I really know who I am or is it the way I conformed myself for the world to see? Does creating an illusion of myself set the identity? Or am I one person today and tomorrow, another? I know my own characteristics, hobbies, capabilities and so on, but those aspects do not really define my individuality. As you can see, it’s one of those provoking thoughts that I deal with on a daily basis. Perhaps it’s an ongoing series of revelation as I go through life. What I can tell you is my alter ego exists in this world.

I am the first generation to live on the land of freedom. I came into this world in the midst of political war. During my infancy, my family and I escaped from vietnam war back in ‘75. Since then we have grown and adapted to American life. I have no recollection of my own country nor do I speak the language.

I spent a significant amount of time learning to rely on my senses to lead a ‘normal’ life. As I age, I instinctly percieve and digest the core meaning of such minuscular details around me. I then long to share my insights with others, thus my passion for visual communication whether it is logically or abstractly.

Currently, I reside in the state of Texas with a rescued dog from HSPCA. I work full time as a User Interface/Graphic Developer at a small yet big software company. If time permits, I do a little bit of web/graphic experimentation and share my learnings/experiences online. I may even squeeze in certain projects to take on.
