Yes, a whole new look… again!
March 26th, 2007 | Posted in designsI know… I’m just never satisified with my design. I’ve also had several feedback on my previous layout and it didn’t give anyone the wow factor that I expected. So I started all over from scratch thinking how I could achieve this authentic feel, yet somehow maintain that long lasting appeal. I think I finally pulled it together nicely. The whole idea was to keep website fresh by interchanging background design from time to time. After all, a good design should have the flexibility to change elements such as fonts, colors, images and so on without losing the integrity of content.
The next objective was to showcase my portfolio and publicized my professional background. I simply enhanced the organization that can be understood easily without any thought process. I figured that I would spend more time experimenting photoshop’s special effect and apply it to background as often as I like. Hopefully by then, I will discover new techniques and keep my interest in line.
You undoubtly discovered the word “Playground” which is a secondary objective to share my thoughts with you all. It’s pretty self explanatory. I don’t write often so it make sense not to emphasis it upfront and I don’t want to feel obligated to write something in order to fill in the content. I know I’ve said content is king, but it doesn’t really suit this purpose. In the end, I achieved 3 things all at one time. The beauty of website, interchangable background and the business aspect. Everything should remain the same for a good while until I decide to do something differently.
So what do you all think? Eye catching, dark, boring, interesting or what? Suggestions, comments, or advice? I’m open to new ideas and I won’t chop your head off for criticizing me. :-P
